Kenlove’s story: “So I can flourish here too…”
Twenty-four-year-old Kenlove led the youth group from Wesleyan Church of Blue Hills, an at-risk neighborhood of Cap-Haitien, to victory in 4VEH’s Summer Contest (Salut Match). Church youth groups compete weekly in a live, gameshow-style contest of Bible knowledge, history, geography and general knowledge, in front of a live audience at 4VEH.
Kenlove says: “4VEH’s Summer Youth Programs, and the contest that we won, have helped me develop a better image of myself. When I see myself up on the stage with my teammates, I feel more confident.
“If lots of young people would listen to 4VEH, they would flourish spiritually and socially. The programs can really help people grow in their faith—to live a life that’s really full.
“So, despite all the difficulties my country is experiencing, I believe I’m among those who can use their skills and abilities to help my country develop—so that I can flourish here, too!”
