PRAISE GOD and thank you for praying for 4VEH during these very tense, difficult days in Haiti’s complex crisis.
In September, civil unrest escalated after the prime minister announced the end of government fuel subsidies, leading to strikes by transport workers and violent protests calling for the prime minister’s resignation. Violence has been happening across the country, including in Cap-Haitien where 4VEH is based.
So far, 4VEH has remained on the air every day to some but not all of our audiences. We’ve modified schedules to conserve the fuel we still have available and to help staff unable to get to work safely. But things could change quickly.
Please keep praying for Haiti, for our staff and audiences.
Please pray that the Gospel that goes out on all 4VEH stations will reach people in their homes, lifting their eyes and spirits to the One who is our Hope.
